If you are at the beginning of your fitness journey the high waste band will cover the areas that you may not be ready to show off yet and when you are that same band will accentuate all those awesome curves you worked so hard for. 
 
The material is extremely comfortable for day-to-day activities and perfect for working out and nothing says dangerous like a camo pattern!
 
The shorts are true to size, I am 5’3” weigh 120 pounds and wearing size 4
